SAMPLE PROJECTS:
PROJECT 1
UAV for after Typhoon Damage Assessment
A major power company had us build a drone that could withstand occasional strong gusts of wind right after a storm including light rain. They wanted to use the drone to fly over inaccessible flooded areas and assess damage done by a typhoon. Our co-axial LX8 OCTOPOD X8 drone is the best for such a situation: the LX8 OCTOPOD X8 is a strong wind fighter that can carry various heavy payloads such as a 30x zoom camera that can take stills and video for this special purpose.
PROJECT 2
UAV for Asset inspection for telco/power
The requirement for this type of drone was long flight time, rain and dust resistance , with long range. We built this MX6 Hexapod X6 drone to fly 25-30 minutes with a dual camera payload, 30x zoom, video and stills capability, and built in fail safes. It can do 3.5km in 12 minutes on a mapping run with more battery power to spare.
PROJECT 3
UAV for Search and Rescue (SAR)
We have built search and rescue or perimeter security drones for local government units using drones as part of their tools for "disaster risk reduction." These SX8 Octopod drones have long flight time capabilities, light cameras that record their flights HD, and may have some rain resistant protection.
PROJECT 4
UAV for "Under Bridge Inspection"
A major construction company approached us with a need for inspecting the underside of bridges. Since they shopped around for drones, they could not find one available with a camera facing upwards. Then they found us. The job was particularly challenging due to the thick foliage under the bridge to be inspected. We built a compact Octopod X8 drone to withstand strong gusts, and attached an upward facing camera fully controllable by the cam operator using another remote control radio. The same drone can be fitted with dual cameras with one facing downward as well.
